A great ball to practice wedge shots in my yard. It’s about 50 yards from my golf matt to the end of my lawn, which allows me to hit full shots with my 60 and 64 degree wedges. Aside from the reduced distance almostGOLF balls fly, they feel and act enough like regular balls to offer me a meaningful way to practice at home. The 50 ball pack of almostPERFECT balls are an exceptionally good deal.

Best device I’ve ever used for practice.
I purchased these for my Cairn Terrier’s to chase. They have previously been obsessed with a different brand. Almost golf balls have been working really well. The dogs can chew them without falling apart and are very easy on their teeth. For actually golf play; these balls are also excellent. They hit straight and smooth. They also have a great deal of sensitivity playing with irons. One draw back, they are temperature sensitive. We had lots of days over 100 degree f this year and a handful of the balls warped cause of the temp.

I’ve been really impressed with AlmostGolf practice balls. They feel much more realistic than a typical foam or plastic practice ball, and the flight gives you a surprisingly accurate representation of the shot you actually hit. You can clearly see draws, fades, hooks, and slices, which makes them genuinely useful for practice—not just something to hit around the yard. They’ve become one of my favorite ways to work on my swing when I can’t get to the range.

I purchased the AlmostGolf (AG) balls to use in my indoor simulator. I built a golf Sim and was using real golf balls with the Square Launch Monitor. A YouTube video by Hosel Rocket showed that the AG balls worked effectively with the Square LM. While the distance was less (25%) when using the AG balls compared to non foam balls, the AG balls we’re an effective addition to my indoor Sim and safer, especially when used by golfers with limited golf ability and youngsters. Also, once you establish an average distance for each club, it is easy to calibrate your actual distance with a regular golf ball.
So much better than the standard foam practice balls. You actually get realistic action and can even work on trajectory. Unlike the plain foam balls that just go straight up in the air

The Garmin r 10 read them no problem. Numbers are close enough for the wedges and short irons. A good do for me!
I’ve hit several of the foam balls from Amazon etc. these have a better feel and accuracy. They really do. Ordering more today!

My golf teacher/coach first told me about almost golf balls. I use them daily at my indoor practice net. I think they are great and could not practice at home without them.
I’ve really enjoyed using the Almost Golf Balls. They feel great, fly surprisingly well, and make it easy to practice at home without worrying about damage. They’ve held up well, and I find myself practicing a lot more because of them. Definitely worth it!
